Last weekend, Laura and Kirk were blessed with such a beautiful November day to tie the knot! I arrived at Laura’s mom’s house that morning and immediately felt so welcomed by her bridesmaids and parents! (Some of you know I’m currently breastfeeding….I even found a fellow pumping bridesmaid to commiserate with! Huge shoutout to Blanche for letting me borrow her nursing cover at the reception!!) They were all so laid back and having the best time. Getting ready with your girls is such a special part of the day!! I immediately got to work on photographing the dress and Laura’s details. Classic gold is officially back in style y’all and I am loving it! Laura also chose gold bridesmaid dresses, and they were STUNNING!

After the girls got ready, we took a short ride to church for the ceremony. Our Lady of Mercy is just beautiful with stained glass on either side of the altar! Then it was time for the reception, where it was clear that everyone had a fantastic time! Phat Hat Band always puts on a great party. My favorite part of the reception was Kirk’s groom’s cake…you’ll have to scroll down to check it out!! So yummy! Laura and Kirk finished the night with a fun and sparkly confetti exit!

Fun fact: Laura and I graduation from high school together, and it was so much fun getting to catch up with her again these past few months. AND we get to do it again when her sister gets married next spring! How fun is that! Here’s a few of my favorites from their day and my last wedding of 2020!!
