Let’s talk about sunsets over the Baton Rouge skyline, heartwarming first looks, and sentimental vows that are sure to make you shed a tear!! Katie and PJ had all of this and more for their gorgeous wedding day at The River Terrace at Shaw Center for the Arts in downtown Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  It was a perfect wedding with so many emotional and sentimental aspects throughout the day. Katie and PJ said their vows as the sun sank in the sky behind them, into the most glowing and romantic Baton Rouge sunset. Then they danced the night away at Gallery 14!

I have taken pictures of this sweet little family for years, and definitely felt like a part of the family as I began capturing the day! This was yet another one of those days where I am reminded that there is just so much more beyond taking a photo. Being able to capture the joy of two little boys that are SO EXCITED to become step-brothers, and the emotions and story that lie beneath words spoken from a piece of paper will forever be what fuels the click of the shutter!

What both Katie and PJ never thought would be possible almost a decade ago before meeting each other unfolded so beautifully at their ceremony and in their vows. A couple of disagreements about where they shared their first kiss, heart-felt vows, and another first kiss that they are SURE to remember….not only did two little boys become step-brothers, but 4 amazing people became a new family! I couldn’t be happier for Katie and PJ and wish them all the best in their lives together!! Congratulations to Juges!!
