I’m Renee, a South Louisiana wedding photographer striving to create blissful experiences and timeless images. As a former CPA, I live for organization, but my secret power is handling chaos with grace on wedding days. From rounding up rowdy wedding parties to bustling dresses, I’ve got your back - without missing a shot.
A venue dripping in greenery and florals, extravagant details, late night Chick-fil-A, a coffee bar, cotton candy, a dance floor showered in streamers to end the night…was there anything Rebeca and Blumes’ wedding didn’t have? Planned and designed by August Events, this downtown Baton Rouge wedding truly had it all.
After getting ready in the Mezzanine Suite of the Hilton Capitol Center, Rebeca prepared to share a first look with Blumes across the street, but not before pranking him with the help of one of his groomsmen. You’ll have to scroll down to see that one! I’d say the second first-look was much easier on the eyes! Rebeca was simply stunning in her fitted Anne Barge gown.
It was a beautiful February afternoon for portraits in front of the Shaw Building, then the wedding party hopped on a streetcar-style trolley to the ceremony a few blocks away at St. Joseph Cathedral. After saying “I Do,” everyone partied the night away with the Chee Weez at Capitol Park Museum!
