Kaylyn and Garrett | A Winter Blue Wedding at St. John the Evangelist in Plaquemine, LA

What a way to kick off 2020 wedding season!! Kaylyn and Garrett sure know how to throw a party and we had so much fun capturing this special day! It was my first time shooting at St. John in Plaquemine – this church is just stunning. The coordinator mentioned to us before the ceremony that it has the second-longest aisle in the entire state! What a way to make an entrance!

Kaylyn spent the morning getting ready at her sweet mom’s house, and she was so laid back the entire day. It made for such a relaxing time before all the fun started! One of my favorite details were the dresses. Kaylyn’s dress was just, wow. I mean, I really have no other words. But I LOVED how she chose bridesmaids dresses in a gorgeous frosty blue with a similar deep v neckline to hers! They tied together so perfectly!!

I took SO many photos last Friday so I feel like this blog post is a little on the longer side, but it was just too hard to narrow them down any more! Enjoy some of my favorites!!
