I’m so excited to share this post today! Chavanne one of my closest friends, and she’s always up for an adventure, so I knew making the road trip to New Orleans with her and her fiance was going to be a good time. Not to mention, they have the best style! We started their session at their adorable little house in Baton Rouge, then drove down to NOLA to their reception venue for some classic French Quarter-esque balcony portraits. Then we hopped back in the car to go to Central Park (not having a clue where we were going), and just drove around lost for a little bit until both Chavanne and I spotted some mossy oak trees, and blurted out at the same time to pull over! I’m so glad we did because we found the most amazing overgrown, graffiti-ed shack that made for some magical images. The juxtaposition of the old rusty iron columns with Chavanne’s sleek white dress and Courtney’s suit was perfect. I’ll probably never be able to find that spot again! Then of course we had to finish off the evening back in the French Quarter with a little champagne!!
