Who would have ever guessed that a September wedding would be twice as hot as a June or July wedding?! This past weekend was one of the warmest I can remember, but it didn’t put a damper on Casie and Brian’s celebrations one single bit! And I know Casie was relieved that no hurricanes came our way this week!
Weather aside, the best part about this wedding was the people. It’s not every weekend I can walk away from a wedding having had a truly wonderful experience with every single person I interacted with. It’s just a fact of life when you put hundreds of people in an exciting but sometimes stressful situation…emotions understandably can run high! But I can honestly say that on Casie and Brian’s wedding day, everyone was an absolute joy to be around! From the fellow vendors, to the families and wedding party, the guests, and Brian and Casie themselves, everyone was so kind and gracious and just downright happy for these two people they care so deeply about.
From the moment Casie walked down the aisle, there were tears. Then Brian and Casie read vows they wrote themselves, and there were more tears.. but also laughter as they lightheartedly joked with each other. The most powerful ceremonies to witness are those personalized with real emotions, and a couple that is comfortable enough with each other to let them show. What a joy it was to be able to capture this day forever for these two! I enjoyed every minute of it.
