Since we’re having so much gloomy weather this week, I thought it would be a good time to share this rainy day engagement session from earlier this year! Normally when the forecast doesn’t look ideal, we reschedule, but Alyssa and Michael weren’t scared of a little drizzle! It was my first time shooting at Jungle Gardens in New Iberia, and I only wish it wasn’t such a drive because the place is massive and so picturesque! When I say massive – it’s impossible to walk it all (at least for an engagement session)… you have to get in your car and drive around the park. Which it was kind of nice to get a little AC break when you’re changing locations and it’s super humid and hot outside! Even in the on and off rain, it was a beautiful backdrop for a beautiful couple. I love how these turned out with the clear umbrella!
