It’s official, January is my new favorite month for weddings! Sarah planned a near flawless wedding day, and I have a feeling we will be trying to top this one all year! The weather was beautiful, the LIGHT was beautiful, the wedding party was fun but so cooperative, and we stayed AHEAD of schedule all day (what?!) I could shoot wedding days like this every day!!
Sarah got ready in the prettiest Airbnb on False River with amazing natural light, then she and Garrick shared a first look under the oak trees, which turned out to be the perfect backdrop for portraits! Then it was off to the ceremony. Sarah had specifically chosen their wedding date because she wanted the church to still be decorated for Christmas, and when I walked in, I immediately knew why! St. Mary’s was stunning! After the ceremony, we took a few more quick portraits, then they partied the night away with Three37, who wasted no time getting everyone out on the dance floor!
There are so many things I loved about this day, and I really could go on and on. But hands down the best part was that this was my second wedding with this sweet family, and that just made it for me! After 2 engagement sessions, 2 bridal sessions, and 3 wedding days together (since her sister Sydney was lucky enough to have 2) over the years, it’s a little bittersweet that the wedding celebrations are over! But I’d definitely say they went out with a bang 🙂 Here’s a few (or a hundred) of my favorites from last weekend!
