Elizabeth & Jack | A Tropical Destination Wedding In St. Lucia

When I first met Elizabeth over a year ago, a destination wedding was actually not something that we discussed while flipping through sample albums! Her and Jack originally planned to get married in Baton Rouge, and when the pandemic became a reality, they decided to downside and move the wedding…all the way to St. Lucia!! Escaping the January chill for tropical beaches was a FANTASTIC idea (seriously how is it NEVER cold in some places?!)

Caleb and I were so honored to be a part of their entire wedding weekend. An AWESOME bonus of photographing destination weddings means you get to know everyone extra well! We attended the rehearsal, ate dinner with Jack’s parents…by the wedding day, we knew everyone and felt like guests ourselves! Everyone was so wonderful and welcoming, and it was evident how much they cared about Elizabeth and Jack. There were over 20 people that traveled to St. Lucia to see them tie the knot! Those that couldn’t make it in person, made the sweetest surprise video toasts for Elizabeth. It was a weekend to remember! Jack and Elizabeth, I hope you’re enjoying the rest of your “wedding-moon” with lots of R&R!
