Emily & Andrew’s Baton Rouge wedding was absolutely stunning!! One of the moments that stood out to me the most was when Emily’s mom and dad tearfully embraced right after he handed her off to Andrew at the altar. It was in that moment that I was reminded all over again why I love what I do!!

Emily and Andrew are an incredible couple who have been together for 10 years! They even went to the same middle school, which also happens to be where they got married (talk about full circle!), even though they didn’t meet and start dating until high school. After spending the day surrounded by their closest family and friends, it was obvious to me that they are so special and so loved by so many!

I especially love how at ease they are with each other. They both decided last minute (as in 15 minutes before the ceremony) to do a quick first look together. It was no frills, just a quick, quiet meeting in a secluded spot of the garden at St. Aloysius, and the best decision ever!!! I know they both loved the opportunity to say “hey” to each other in private. Not to mention we got a few glowy portraits that we wouldn’t have gotten otherwise since the sun set shortly after mass!
