I’m Renee, a South Louisiana wedding photographer striving to create blissful experiences and timeless images. As a former CPA, I live for organization, but my secret power is handling chaos with grace on wedding days. From rounding up rowdy wedding parties to bustling dresses, I’ve got your back - without missing a shot.
Guys, prepare yourselves…this is the most photo-heavy blog post I’ve ever done! But I can’t help it! Everything about this wedding was just incredibly photogenic and I went a little crazy! Mallory and Grant were all smiles all day long, their wedding party was the BOMB, and their families were so so sweet and accommodating! Wedding days are exhausting and stressful at times, but being a part of something with such a special group of people makes it more than worthwhile!
Mallory and Grant met in college, when they both attended LA Tech. Since then, they have spent a lot of their relationship long distance…as much as 17 hours apart! It’s a testament to their love that they were able to overcome that challenge… and their wedding day was even sweeter knowing that the long distance was finally over!!!
Photos were very high on Mallory and Grant’s list of priorities for their day, and they planned their timeline carefully to make sure we had ample time to capture everything they wanted in a beautiful and efficient way! They chose to do a first look, so we could take as many portraits as possible outside, and even had their getaway car come early so we could get some natural light photos with that as well. This turned out to be a great idea!! These were some of my favorites portraits we took!
Mallory and Grant, I can’t thank you enough for letting me be a part of your wedding journey! It’s truly been such a pleasure getting to know you both. I hope you enjoy these photos for many, many happy years to come!
How sweet is this first look with Mallory’s bridesmaids?!! Y’all, they were ecstatic!!
And her dad! How could you not love him!
The wind on Friday was a little bit of an unexpected challenge, but we made it work! Good news is, we didn’t have to do any veil tossing… this was all natural thanks to mother nature!
